The Ministry

Alma Thomas Collins high impact keynotes are empowering, effective, engaging, informative and memorable. Ms. Thomas has created a legacy of inspiration and motivation as a guest speaker at churches and educational institutions. These messages activate, cultivate and train women and young people.

 

Ms. Thomas is a play writer of two plays, "A Woman of Substance", and "It's time to look back, look around and look ahead". She is the co-author of "Love, Marriage and Divorce", and "Sister with Purpose". She is a contributing writer for Authentically You magazine. She also wrote a debut book, "Dream Killers".

 

In September 2014, Ms. Alma Thomas was awarded the Inspirational award from UNAYO Youth Center. Ms. Thomas has been in the educational field for over 25 years as a teacher at Head Start.  She is a 501 C consultant and a grant writer.

 

Currently, she's the owner of ACT Summer Day Camp. She is the event coordinator and Youth Director at The Church of Jesus Christ Our Lord. She is a Girl Scout Leader. She is the visionary of ACT Ministry an organization that she started to encourage women and youth to activate their visions, cultivate their passions and train them to step into their destiny. She is the founder of The Tysean Thomas Friends and Family Scholarship in honor of her son Tysean who died of a heart condition in 2009.
