Author, Public Speaker, Youth Director, & Founder of Alma Collins Thomas Ministries

My name is Alma Collins Thomas. A mother of two children, Tysean who died in 2009 and Sabria. I am a Minister, Author, Motivational speaker, Consultant and Coach. I am the founder and Executive Director of Alma Collins Thomas Ministries. For twenty-seven years, I have worked at Amityville Head Start as a pre-school teacher.

 

I am a Sulfolk County Girl Scout leader. I volunteer at UNAYO Youth Center and Kingz Kidz Outreach Ministries. I attend the Church of Jesus Christ Our Lord where I presently serve as the youth director and special events planner.

 

My two passions are working with the youth and empowering women. My favorite topic is "purpose". 

I love helping people find out why they are on this earth and living the life that God meant for us to live.

 

My favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11, and my favorite quote is "I don't feel no ways tired I have come too far from where I started from", despite all of the obstacles that I have had to face in my life, I'm still standing and I don't look like the hell I have been through.
